THE SLEEP TRAIN | SHELBY ROWE

PAEDIATRIC SLEEP CONSULTANT

Looking for solutions for a better night's rest?

You're in the right place!

I’m Shelby, and I know first-hand how deeply lack of sleep can affect every part of your life.

If you’re here, it’s likely because you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and needing a change sooner rather than later, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

With 10 years of experience in early years education, I’ve cared for and nurtured hundreds of babies and children, helping them gain the independent sleep skills that carried well beyond the nursery environment.

Whether you’re a mum returning to work after maternity leave, feeling anxious about sending your little one to nursery and wanting to establish a predictable routine, navigating attachment that affects your own rest, or simply longing for a better night’s sleep - you’re in the right place.

I’m here to support you every step of the way.

"My daughter is now falling asleep on her own within minutes and she does not wake up at night- even if she does, she goes back to sleep and does not need to come to our bed. We all sleep on our own bed now and I have personal time. Initially, she would wake up an hour after I was putting her down and would only sleep on me/with me. I had zero personal time. Now I do!

Shelby did a great job. She did not treat us like robots, she could understand and she provided emotional support as well. Super important, as the first days were difficult and I was questioning myself.

Shelby supported me emotionally and we did this together."

A LITTLE BACK STORY

As both a parent and an early years teacher, I understand how exhausting sleepless nights can be, especially when you’re trying to balance work, motherhood, and your own wellbeing.

I know what it feels like to return to work after maternity leave while battling separation anxiety, overwhelm, and a baby who still wakes often.

My journey into sleep consulting began after the birth of my baby girl. Her sudden and fast arrival left me navigating recovery, trauma, and months of sleepless nights. I didn’t want anyone to hold her or go near her for a long time, and the emotional load alongside the sleep deprivation felt impossible.

Through this experience, I learned just how deeply sleep affects a child’s development and a parent’s emotional balance, confidence, and daily life.

When I discovered the Sleep Sense™ Program, it transformed everything for us. Within days, my baby began sleeping peacefully, without long nights of crying, and without leaving me feeling like I was doing something wrong. - This was incredibly important to me as a mother.

The change in her happiness, her growth, and our overall family life was incredible. Having worked with children and parents every day for over a decade, my motivation is to support families in a deeper, more meaningful way. That’s what led me here.

Today, I help families all over the world in our strong expat community create consistent, nurturing routines using gentle, proven methods that respect each child’s personality and each family’s unique needs.

My goal is simple: to help you feel confident, supported, and finally well-rested again.
